Curing reaction principle
When the epoxy resin Cyd-014 is cured with bisphenol A, the phenol hydroxyl group in bisphenol A will undergo ring opening addition reaction with the epoxy group in the epoxy resin. Under the appropriate temperature, catalyst and other conditions, the epoxy group is continuously opened to form ether bonds with the hydroxyl group of bisphenol A. With the progress of the reaction, the molecular weight of the epoxy resin gradually increased, and finally formed a three-dimensional network crosslinked structure. This cross-linked structure makes the cured epoxy resin have high strength, hardness and chemical resistance.
