Dimethylformamide (DMF) is an important chemical raw material and solvent, which has a wide range of applications. DMF is widely used in polyurethane, acrylic fiber, food additives, medicine, pesticides, dyes and electronics industries. For example, in the pharmaceutical industry, DMF is used to synthesize doxycycline, cortisone, sulfonamides, etc. In the pesticide industry, it is used to synthesize highly effective and low toxic insecticides.
