Aliphatic Resins is a thermoplastic aliphatic petroleum resin, which is produced from the C5 portion of the by-product of ethylene cracker as raw material. The appearance of the product is light yellow translucent granular solid.

Production technology:
Raw material preparation: The main raw material is the by-product C5 fraction of the petroleum cracking ethylene unit. After the C5 fraction flows out of the device, it can be directly used as the raw material, or some of the C5 hydrocarbons can be obtained as the raw material after certain separation or pure preparation.
Polymerization reaction: In the presence of Lewis acid catalysts (such as aluminum trichloride, aluminum tribromide, boron trifluoride and various complexes, titanium tetrachloride, tin tetrachloride, etc.), C5 raw materials are cationic polymerization at 0-60ºC.
Post-treatment: After the polymerization reaction is completed, the reaction is terminated with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and washed with water, then the unreacted C5 hydrocarbons are steamed and the oligomers are extracted by steam distillation to obtain aliphatic petroleum resin.

Excellent viscosity: It has the characteristics of high peel bonding strength, fast adhesion, stable bonding performance, etc. Its viscosity is stable in different environments, and can meet a variety of bonding needs.
Other characteristics: It also has the advantages of low acid value, water resistance, ethanol resistance, chemical resistance, good thermal stability, etc., and can maintain good performance in different application scenarios.
